- Depart to the West (RWY 26) unless easterly wind component is higher than 10 knots.
- Do the run-up on the runway centerline facing the end of the runway to avoid blowing dust towards houses.
- After take-off pitch for best rate of climb speed (Vy). For noise abatement reduce power above populated area or at safe altitude.
- Stay clear of Phoenix Class B Airspace (North of Dobbins Road down to surface, above the runway 3000 ft MSL)
- Expect turbulence after lift-off when southerly wind prevails.
VFR Arrivals:

- Always fly at least the Downwind/Base/Final segments of the pattern. Avoid base-leg and straight-in approaches.
- Check if the runway is clear during downwind.
- Always stay South of Dobbins road to stay clear of the Phoenix Class B Airspace.
- Announce Downwind-, Base- and Final-leg on 122.9 MHz.
